Surplices
The surplice a type of loose white tunic usually made from lightweight poly/cotton, with a round neck and of a length that reaches either the knees or the ankles.
Angel Supplies creates this garment in three main styles:
-
an organist’s surplice, with added space for movement while organists play, navigate around the organ, or conduct
-
a choir surplice, with a more fitted body and usually of a medium length, designed for a uniform look for choristers; and
-
a Sarum surplice, a magnificent full length garment, with pointed sleeves. Choose your length to fall where you prefer, between knee- and ankle-length.
Please remember to send:
- length from shoulder to length required, and
- shirt size for sleeve length. This is very important.
These surplices are proudly made in Australia in the Angel Supplies Sydney studio.
